It is really one of the sexier notebooks from the company as Lenovo notebooks although very good configuration wise, used to be a bit less flashy in looks than their Sony counterparts. IdeaPad Y650 is powered by 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processor. It boasts of a whopping 320GB HDD, DVD burner and 6-cell battery. The display is 16-inch LCD with 1366x768 resolution. The 4 GB of DDR3 Ram is more than enough. WiFi and Bluetooth are there for wireless connectivity.
Base model comes with GMA X4500 integrated graphics chipset. Mid range model flaunts NVIDIA GeForce G105M graphics chipset with 256MB of memory. And we forget the OS. No prizes for guessing, Windows Vista Premium.
Lenovo calls it "one of the thinnest and lightest notebooks in its class." No doubt this laptop is packed with killer features but unfortunately, IdeaPad Y650 kills your budget too. The sexy piece of hardware relails at $1,300. All in all a very good buy.
